The
IPM
CRSP is a USAID-supported research,
education/training,
and information exchange collaborative partnership among US and
developing
country institutions. It focuses on participatory and
collaborative
IPM research and education programs for horticultural export crops and
other food production systems. In the first version of the IPM
CRSP, the Eastern European regional site focused on olive
IPM in Albania. The project resulted in significant economi)c
benefits to Albania (See show in English or Albanian).
Since this project, awards
for high-quality extra virgin Albanian olive oil were presented in
Tirana on 28 June 2007. In the new IPM CRSP, the Eastern European
program has added Ukraine and Moldova, and shifted its focus to high
value horticultural crops (tomato, cucumber, grape and apple).
Our project will use
