Leaves of vines should be protected up until frost to maintain healthy plants. This is especially important for control of powdery mildew. Maintain green functioning leaves as long as possible. Follow sprays for powdery mildew under post-bloom. Do not use sulfur during or prior to periods of excessively high temperatures.
