1 CAUTION: FIRE BLIGHT. The conditions favorable for
fire blight include all of the following: (1) open blossoms and
succulent young growth; (2) a temperature of 65F or higher; and
(3) rainfall, or a relative humidity of 60% or higher. Apply the
first streptomycin spray just before the earliest blossoms open
and repeat at 5-day intervals until petals on latest blossoms
have fallen. If streptomycin is applied alone, the rate may be
reduced to 60 ppm (5 oz/100 gal dilute; 15 oz/A concentrate).
The effectiveness of streptomycin can be increased by including
the adjuvant Regulaid at the rate of 1 pint per 100 gal of tank
mix. Apply streptomycin in at least 50 gallons of water per
acre.
2
Do not apply more than 60 fl oz per acre per year. Do not apply
more than two sequential applications before rotating to a
different mode of action and no more than four

1 Pyrethroids may be applied no more than twice during the prebloom period. Monitor ERM closely postbloom because these products are highly toxic to predators of ERM.
2 Apply only once per season, when eggs or young mites
are present.
